Preview: Leverkusen Vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Expect a flurry of goals here between two in-form teams:

Defending Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen are set to take on Eintracht Frankfurt in round seven of the league action at the BayArena on Saturday. This game is going to be interesting as two of the best attacking teams face each other.

Bayer Leverkusen haven’t enjoyed the best of starts to the new season. After winning the league unbeaten throughout the last season, Xabi Alonso’s team have already lost a game in the starting six matches while also playing two consecutive draws against Holstein Kiel and Bayern Munich in the last two games.

The game against Holstein Kiel should have been won considering they scored two goals in the opening 30 minutes but it was not the case. With Florian Wirtz also missing, it remains to be seen how they bounce back to winning ways in this game.

Eintracht Frankfurt on the other hand have made a brilliant start to the season as they currently languish in the third position. The team are looking strong this season particularly with the front duo of Omar Marmoush and Hugo Eketike scoring goals for fun.

Dino Toppmöller’s side are currently on a seven-game unbeaten streak and are coming on this game on the back of an impressive 3-3 thriller against Bayern Munich. They will be heading into this game in high confidence looking to surprise another big side.
