Super Cup 2023: Logistical NIGHTMARE for Kerala Blasters, ISL club to travel 185kms…
FC Goa did not make the playoffs despite being in the top six for much of the season and playing some fine football during the Hero ISL 2022-23 season. Carlos Pena’s team showed flashes of actual quality during the season, but lacked the consistency to get to the knockout stage.
FC Goa may be a formidable side in the Hero Super Cup, despite a group that is still reeling from their close call in the league. They have true quality in their ranks with Noah Sadaoui, Iker Guarrotxena, Anwar Ali, and Brandon Fernandes. FC Goa, the current Super Cup holders and one of the most consistent teams in Hero ISL history, would like to return back to their best.

The Red Miners had a forgettable season, finishing tenth in the league rankings after defending the League Sheild. They would not, however, enter the Hero Super Cup with that attitude, as they finished the season strongly, winning three of their last four games and looking more like the team that won the League Shield.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side also came close to beating Mumbai City FC in the Hero Club Playoffs and have obviously improved since the start of the season. Jamshedpur FC will thus be a squad that no team wants to face, and Boothroyd will want to make the most of his players’ return to form.
